#4 Michigan lost to #10 OSU, #7 LSU lost to #22 aTm, #8 Washington State lost to #16 Washington. I expect Michigan to drop only two or three spots allowing UGA and Oklahoma to move up to #4 and #5 respectively. I think Michigan will probably be #7 with OSU leap-frogging over UCF to the #6 spot. UCF lands at #8 while UF moves back into the Top 10 at #9 and Penn State at #10.
So I'm guessing the Top 10 will actually look something like this when the polls are announced:
1. Bama
2. Clemson
3. Notre Dame
4. Georgia
5. Oklahoma
6. OSU
7. Michigan
8. UCF
9. Florida
10. Penn State
Thoughts?
The only important spots are 5 and 6 this week, between OK and tOSU. (I think either could beat ND.) The committee could leap tOSU over OK, but they shouldn't.
UCF might jump Michigan. They're not going to put Michigan in the playoffs if OSU and OK both lose this week.
