With a bye week between the Arkansas game and a pivotal home game against No. 2 LSU, there's time for Tagovailoa to work his way back onto the field. It won't be easy, though. This same surgery, albeit on his other ankle, sidelined him four weeks -- not three -- last season. And by his own admission, he wasn't the same for several months afterward.

Might have Mac Jones v. LSU.   

At least Bama should be able to beat Arky even with Perine at QB.  So it will be good experience time for Mac.

Very true.

And this game provides Tua a baseline for his Heisman title.  Any voter can clearly see that Tua, not the surrounding cast, is the hero.  Take him out and Arkansas looks like a real SEC team.  Reinstate him for a victory over mighty LSU, and the evidence is clear.

Woot!  This was all part of the plan.

 
Notice that Tua didn't even limp into the lockers?  He's not really hurt; all a ploy to win the Heisman and Natty.

There was some twitter posts about this over the weekend.  With Tua out a game maybe the world will see if he was the total package or if he was depending on the entire cast for Bama to be successful...
