I thought overall we played well. We came out in the first quarter and hit them hard on both sides of the ball. Mizzou got a little bit going late once the game was over, some subs mixed in the lineup and CNS had taken his foot off the gas.

Mac Jones played a good game. He make some nice throws and did not make any bad mistakes. I like Mac and think we can win with him. 18/24, 249 yds, 2 TDS and 0 picks in three quarters.

Bryce Young made a few good throws. He took a couple of sacks that could have been avoided. He is smaller than I thought. At this point Mac is the clear choice IMO but Young is a solid back up if needed.

N Harris is good. By far our best RB.

O Line looks like one of our best. They gave Mac plenty of time to survey the field.

Waddle and Smith are as good as it gets but we already knew that.

Kicking game was solid. I have not said that in a while.

Defense is fast. It was good to see Dylan Moses and LaBryan Ray back. Moses is a leader and fast. I am concerned about our safeties but our D Line, LB and corners are at the level we have com to expect.

Coaching: Our team was better prepare than any other I saw yesterday. We came out ready to play. LSU and UGA did not.

I forgot to mention #31 Will Anderson. Wow!. That first step is quick. He gets to the backfield fast and blows up the plays. We will see a lot of that true freshman this year.

The only thing I worry about #31 is we won't have him long cause the Not For Long will get him early. RTR!

Really good analysis, pmull. Things look solid, but I hate to be outscored in the last quarter, even when the subs are in.

Anderson and Christian Harris are FUN TO WATCH on the D!   Both fast and both like to hit!

After watching Harris against Missouri it makes me wonder if he was thinking too much rather than reacting last year. Now that Dylan Moses is back he does not have to get the defense lined up and call plays. He is free to attack and he did. He looked more than McClain and Hightower than he ever did last year.

Last year LB starter Shane Lee is buried in the depth chart this year.

CNS presser on 9-28-20 on the Mizzou game.  His comments very similar to what's been said in this thread.
