...But the biggest news of the day came a few hours after Saban’s press conference ended in the form of former LSU cornerback Eli Ricks announcing he will transfer to UA and play for the Crimson Tide.
Ricks played in 16 games over the last two seasons, including six this year, before undergoing shoulder surgery in October and entering the NCAA transfer portal last month. After planning to wait until next week, Ricks said he informed Saban of his decision Wednesday morning.
