Several reporters saw veteran
inside linebacker Jaylen Moody standing off to the side. His right arm was in a sling, signaling an apparent injury. He did not practice, despite getting some work on an exercise bike. Moody, a fifth-year senior from South Carolina, played 10 games this year with eight starts at weakside linebacker. He recorded 50 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, a quarterback hurry, and a fumble recovery. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder battled a couple of injuries, including a bruised kidney.
