Losing Grubb would be a tough loss for us, but we've done more with less many times before. However DeBoer has shown he can reel the good coaches in, as well as players. If we lose Grubb, my guess is CKD already has somebody in mind to take his place.

This is like continuing aftershocks following an earth quake.  They just keep coming.

Grubb leaving would be a huge loss and have an immediate impact on recruiting that would take months to overcome. From what's been announced, the admin (AD et al) have been slow to get the new coaches to sign contracts, and get the contracts approved by the BOD. With so much coaching turnover in college & pro, we need to get these guys locked up.  I'd do at least two year contracts.  We need coaching stability after what's happened in the last month.

You have well said my friend. If we think they will do well I'd go for 5 and and the right fire state can take place. RTR!

Grubb's departure is awful.  Just awful.  Not only do we loose a great OC/QB coach who knows CDB's offense very well, but this also prolongs the image of the program being unsettled. At least he waited until the 30-day portal had closed. Spring ball now becomes critical to holding onto offensive players, and keeping recruits focused on Bama.  This is going to hurt us.

I wonder McBaman did CKD not know he was gonna leave? If he did he probably has a replacement for him. RTR!

Well, now more bad news and more disarray on the Bama coaching staff. Now being reported that Scott Huff (our new OL coach) is also going to the Seahawks. CNS talked about overcoming adversity but so much coaching churn in such a short time is a bad look for the team. The Portal will open again after spring ball so get a grip.  May be a bumpy ride.

A bit unnerving to say the least, but such is the nature of the game now, and not just at Bama.
