OK we gotta move forward. I do say I don't wish the leavers success at the new places. I am just confused why everybody even saban wants to destroy Alabama. Here are the only new names I have seen for OC but no O-line coach. RTR!

I'm curious as to what makes you think that Saban wants to destroy Bama?

Well I spoke this wrong but I was speaking this wrong. He left without us knowing. I pray he has a good life. RTR!

Coach Saban told the Administration, then the team, and then the public. What else was he supposed to do. I am glad he did not do a farewell tour and even more glad we did not name a coach in waiting.

Coach Saban left the program in great shape. I think Coach Deboer is a very good hire. In today's college game you will be miserable if you get upset every time a plyer hits the transfer portal or an assistant coach leaves for another job.

Nick Sheridan appears to be our next OC. Looks like he will be good at recruiting QB's and TEs at the very least. Is he Tommy Rees V2,0?

Quote
"DeBoer is going to have a big say in which arms they target, but Sheridan should be a guy that top signal callers can relate with, given his background," Ivins said.

National recruiting editor Brandon Huffman said promoting Sheridan means Alabama and DeBoer get much-needed continuity on the new staff and get a guy with talent for recruiting tight ends on top of quarterbacks.

"Sheridan's move to offensive coordinator means a couple of things," Huffman said. "Finally, there's some continuity on Kalen DeBoer's staff at Tuscaloosa and a coordinator who has recruiting chops. He was key in tight end recruiting at Washington, namely Decker DeGraaf in the 2024 class. He also did a great job recruiting out of the portal at tight end."

Sheridan has recruiting ties to the South, West and Midwest from his multiple coaching stops and had a bigger hand in getting Penix to Indiana than DeBoer, according to Huffman.

I also think this OC hire was a good choice. We will see though. It does kinda somewhat break my heart when a good player leaves but I do trust CKD to replace with as good or close though. RTR!

Well, here we are...another week gone by and still no OL coach.  Not a good look for Bama. I hope this delay means CKD is not happy with the candidates he is finding and will keep looking until he finds the "right" guy.

Or maybe it means he found good candidates and they didn't want to come to Bama.  I hope not.

I hope your 2nd choice is not the answer. I was hoping either the Oregon O-line coach or the Utah would come to bama. RTR!

Here is our new OL coach:

BREAKING🚨 Alabama has hired Chris Kapilovic as their NEW offensive line coach.

Kapilovic was hired by Baylor in December after 4 seasons at Michigan State.
