The winner would obviously have to win out as well, and that seems mighty doable at this point. A week ago, this dream scenario seemed improbable, but after a little college football chaos, the SEC's dream could actually be a reality.

If Bama loses on 11/5 they don't deserve another chance IMO.  Neither would LSU.  The SEC needs a non-SEC opponent to smack around in the NCG so that there is no doubt about what conference is the best.

It is looking more and more like Boise State.  That is, assuming Clemson will be Clemson.  Stanford might beat Oregon this year, but they haven't really been tested yet.  Oklahoma State v. Kansas State will eliminate one team, and they both still have to get past Oklahoma.

I am beginning to think that Wisconsin might still be in it over BSU.  If they win out and play Michigan State in the title game, I think they would go in front of BSU.  They probably wouldn't go ahead of another major conference undefeated team though.

For that matter, a 1 loss Oklahoma would probably move in front of BSU considering they still play Oklahoma State and Kansas State.
