BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - Stop it. Stop it right now.
Stop it before Nick Saban has to interrupt his 60th birthday celebration Monday to do it himself by biting someone's head off.
Stop if before Les Miles feels compelled to open his mouth and comment on it, and another wonderfully kooky collection of totally random words spills out.
Please. I'm begging you. In the interest of maintaining deportment, as the quotable Miles would say.
Can we stop talking about an Alabama-LSU rematch until they actually play the first time a week from Saturday?

A rematch tramples all over the popular college football slogan that every game counts. Nov. 5 counts, but not nearly as much as Jan. 9. It's entirely possible that Alabama or LSU could fail to beat the other in the regular season, fail to win the SEC West and fail to win the SEC - and still win the national championship by correcting one of those mistakes.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Scarbooger.
