not sure where to post this link, but, this is just wrong.......Anonymous, a hacker collective that has aligned itself with the Occupy Wall Street protests, leaked information it stole from four police and government websites today.

More than 600 MB of data from the International Association of Chief of Police, or IACP, (website still down) was released, according to a press release from Anonymous. It included internal documents, membership rosters, home addresses, passwords, social security numbers and more.

Along with the IACP data, Anonymous revealed 1000 names and passwords from the Boston Police Patrolmen’s Association; 1000 names, ranks, social security numbers, addresses, phone numbers from the Alabama law enforcement systems; and the full contact database Matrix Group, a web development agency serving government websites...............Click here for link

but this part I agree with........The "hacktivist" group Anonymous has uncovered what it says was a massive child pornography ring, according to the Examiner.

The hackers targeted several websites, including "Lolita City," which the Guardian says included 1,589 users.

The attack was part of Anonymous' "Operation Darknet." The Guardian explains that "Darknet websites are part of the Invisible Web, sometimes called the Deep Web, containing content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines."

Anonymous published the usernames of those who frequent Lolita City, which, the Guardian reports, had 100 gigabytes of child porn........Click here for link

It is good they took these people down, porn sites are so destructible.
My question is, though, is this the legal way to do it? I wouldn't want to see these guys or girls get into trouble. RTR!
