Don't look now, but Alabama is building an NCAA tournament resume.

The No. 16 Crimson Tide improved its record to 5-0 tonight by winning the Puerto Rico Tip-Off with a 65-56 victory over Purdue (4-1) at San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Trevor Releford led Alabama with 20 points. JaMychal Green and Tony Mitchell each had 14 points and Levi Randolph added 12. The remaining Alabama players combined for five points.

Purdue came into the game averaging 84.5 points per game. Alabama allowed only 50.8 points per game in its first four games.

I'm hoping that some of these " fair weather" fans will start showing up at the games at Coleman to keep the momentum going for the team. This team is for real and deserves a much bigger crowd than what has showed up so far this year.

Come on Bama fans, the price of a ticket is much cheaper than football tickets, you're sitting inside, there are no traffic jams, and the team has already won one championship this year.
The football team needs a big crowd and lots of noise for a home field advantage, well the basketball team needs the same thing.

Hope to see all of you at the next home game and let's start building that home court advantage. Roll Tide!!!!!!!!

I am very proud of our team!!!..You would be surprised how many fair weather fans we have for the football games...a guy behind me will sell his tickets to the visitors in a heartbeat..makes me sick...

Some full houses like this will propel our beloved basketball team to greatness. I will make the trip when I can.

Would love to see that shot with the Naismith trophy at the end of the year.
