I think Coach Fickell had some great defensive teams. I am curious to see if Coach Meyer runs the Fla. type offense. Those guys are ready for that fast paced of a game. Miller better be ready to take this bunch to the next level. RTR!

I think Fick did a decent job keeping his guys focused and playing hard in a really messy situation.

My gut feeling is that if Urbane tries to run his gator spread at tOSU it won't work as well.  In time it will become clear just how much of his success was due to having St. Tebow.

But what will be really interesting to watch will be how the arrest rate in Columbus compares with what happened in Gainesville.

He doesn't know anything else but the spread. His spread was successful at Utah and at UF. What killed UM was losing Cam Newton, who could run the spread as well as Tebow, and having to go with John Brantley, a pro-style QB. Everything about UF was recruited and developed for the spread and then there was Brantley. It was oil & water. UM will try to do the same at tOSU, but it won't happen overnight if at all. I'm like you, I don't think tOSU is ready to embrace the spread offense.
