anyone encouraged by this 7-5? Besides Auburn's rivals.

When your closest loss is a non-conference defeat of 14 points, when you get rudely dismissed by the four best teams in your league by 24, 28, 35 and 38 points, you're not rebuilding. You're reeling.

Consider that the season started with four players, one of them a returning starter, getting arrested and dismissed from the team for their roles in an armed robbery in March, and it'll end with the team's MVP under an indefinite suspension in December.

When your best player has attitude problems, and there's not enough talent surrounding him to cover for it, your team has a serious problem.

Another problem that has been addressed, at last halfway, is the failed three-year marriage of Chizik and Ted Roof on defense.

Roof got a soft landing, but Chizik is faced with a hard question. Who can he hire that will get Auburn back to playing Auburn defense?

His inability to get hired at North Carolina, where he had a relationship with the new AD, or Kansas, which chose an SEC offensive coordinator who had a worse year in Charlie Weis, raises another legitimate question.

Has Malzahn's upward mobility been hurt by that flaky interview of his wife, Kristi, which has gone viral on the Internet? Her loose-cannon demeanor on the video flies in the face of the belief that a head coach's wife should be seen and not heard.

There was talk on Tweeter this morn that Gus and Arky st are in talks for a head coach job, seems strange that he would take that if true, but is guess one year makes a huge difference...and his wife..lol

Wow! I can't recall Scarbo being so hard hitting against the Barn.

In a way, I feel bad for Dyer.  The kid has ability and needs to get to a place where he can straighten his life out and develop as a RB.  Neither of those things will happen for him at the Barn.

IDK where Scarb got his undergraduate degree. He got his graduate's degree from Florida.

Yes sir you are right, he usually saves his hit piece's for Alabama football.

Even when things are going good for The Tide scarb will cough up a distasteful article about something irrelevant  and try to make it a major hailstorm. T-Town mens wear store comes to mine.

Truth be known scarb is a Finebaum wanna be. Paul and Kevin worked for years together at the Birmingham News sports offices.

Scarb is still working for the Birmingham News and Finebaum makes around $1,000,000.00  per year working at XM Sirius plus his Finebaum radio network.

PF was bumped up to $350,000.00 when he was just on the 32 radio stations (Finebaum network) when he first moved from WERC 960 AM to JOX 94.5 FM, 5 years ago.

His attorney / agent is Russ Campbell from Birmingham, has helped make Finebaum a wealthy man.

Finebaum has NEVER worked for the Bham News, he worked at the Birmingham Post Herald.

 Huh?

Let's see now, the Barn has lost it's best player, lost their DC, and now loses their OC, do you think Cheezecake has a plan for this one. He got lucky when they found Scam and bought him which bailed his tail out that year, this year they were so young, what's next year's excuse.

Who knows, do you think any of the folks leaving might lose all of the Fambly dedication and maybe get some loose lips about the past three years.

I guess we better get us an official thread for how much longer Ceezecake will be at the Barn.

It would be awesome if he left voluntarily to take another job somewhere else, for less money.  Laughing  Then I would know the fuse has been lit.
