I have some doubts about this choice. Not much experience as the  & none as head coach. I think that's exactly what Penn State admins wanted.  I think this is their way of minimizing the importance of football at Penn State.


As the scandal-ridden Penn State football program attempts to turn the page with a new coach, the university has zeroed in on New England Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien, according to a report.

I AGREE WITH YOU..THEY MAY BE VERY WELL ON THEIR WAY TO BEING MEDIOCRE FOR A LONG TIME...THE FORMER PLAYERS SHOULD STAND IN UNITY ABOUT THIS, AND DEMAND THEY HIRE A PROVEN COACH.

Well, a denial about O'Brien being offered the job.



Penn State acting athletic director Dave Joyner denied a report by USA Today suggesting New England Patriots' offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien has agreed to become the Nittany Lions' next head coach.
