I'm pretty much ambivalent about who wins to be honest. However, I will pull for the Pats only because they have two Bama players on the roster and the Giants none. I do plan on eating a nice ham sammich....

Pats release Tiquan Underwood last night. The move was not discipline-based. Also there are only 6 players left on Pats roster that lost to NY Giants 4 years ago in Superbowl.

Quote
INDIANAPOLIS -- The New England Patriots have consistently made roster moves the day before games this season. Now, in a tough blow for receiver Tiquan Underwood, they've made one the night before the Super Bowl.

The team released Underwood on Saturday, and promoted defensive lineman Alex Silvestro off the practice squad. The move was not discipline-based, but a pure football decision based on needs specific to the Super Bowl XLVI game plan, according to a source.

Before he was released Saturday, Tiquan Underwood was on the Lucan Oil Stadium field with his teammates having a good time and capturing moments.

On his Twitter account, the 24-year-old Underwood wrote, "Good Luck To The New England Organization, The Coaches, & All My Teammates. #PatsNation."

That was a great response by Underwood. Now that is class and the way you would want your kids to accept it I would think. RTR!

At least Tiquan Underwood didn't lose in a Superbowl game and has an "AFC" ring.. Who knows, in the last 57 seconds when all those balls were dropped, if Underwood was out there he may have caught the winning TD.

Congrats to my bros ( all three of them) who joined me in picking the G-Men. Good game. Outstanding accomplishment. I just have championships raining down on me this year. Now it's bama b-ball's turn.
