You won't see a foul called in the last second of a game unless the player gets decapitated. That's the way it is in college & NBA BB during the tournament or playoffs.

I'll bet that once the dust settles and the Creighton coach sees how close they came to giving 3 shots to win or tie, he'll make his defender rue the very day he was born.

You can not put yourself in position to need a call to go your way in the closing seconds of a game. We lost. Give Creighton credit. We had our chances and should have won the game but don't blame the final shot.

I didn't get to watch the game but when I heard the final score my reaction was: How fitting.  This team tried hard and was successful in many ways, but never could quite put it all together and keep it together. The whole season just came up short of the goals.

Getting to the NCAA was an important step.  Something to build on.

I would have enjoyed the Bama-UNC match-up, even if we took an old fashion beating. Maybe Chech has a kid employed by UNC-- some kind of connection for him.
