The door remains open for three suspended Alabama players to return to the program, but "it's up to them" to remedy their respective situations, coach Nick Saban said Tuesday.

The status of wide receivers Duron Carter, Ronald Carswell and Michael Bowman was placed in limbo when Saban announced their suspensions at the beginning of spring practice. Three days removed from Alabama's A-Day game, it appears nothing has changed.

"It's not up to me. It's up to them, so i don't really need to spend time speculating on what they're going to do," Saban told reporters ......

There's a rumor that they were in Auburn touring the campus because he has a soccer playing daughter considering the barn.

Thanks, I never heard the reason why they were there.  I did actually see a picture of him at the game on twitter, so I think it is true that he was there.  I just didn't know why.

All of us need to remember that when CNS says that these players need to do some things to get back on the team, it's probably not just one thing that has them in the dog house. It could be classroom, study sessions (mentor),team meetings,workout sessions (weightroom),special assignments,off season program, etc..

The day I asked him about Duron Carter I got that laser look of his and he was very adament in that Duron needs to do the things he has been asked to do and he means ALL of the things, not one or two of them.

Personally I think he has assigned these three with a load of work to complete by a given time, and this isn't happening. I can promise you this, if it is a list of things they must complete, it is a very difficult list. JMO
