Earlier that season at 2nd-ranked Alabama, Beuerlein was on the receiving end of one of the more memorable sacks in college football history. Alabama linebacker Cornelius Bennett, who would go on to an All-Pro NFL career, knocked Beuerlein unconscious with a brutal hit that was featured by sports artist Daniel A. Moore in the painting, "The Sack". Even after his NFL career ended, Beuerlein would claim that "The Sack" was the hardest he'd ever been hit

Biscuit was one of the best ever to wear Crimson. I can still remember that earthquake of a sack on Beuerlein and the crowd in my house exploding at the moment of impact. One of my favorite football moments. Thanks for posting.
