Elben was not much of a scorer but we was an adequate back up point guard. He did a good job coming in to give Releford a break. We will be down to 10 scholarship players this year after only signing one this year.
University of Alabama senior guard Ben Eblen will forego his final year of basketball eligibility to concentrate on academics, The News has learned.
In three years, Eblen has played in 92 games at UA , starting twice. His primary role was backup point guard. In 2011-12, Eblen averaged 0.7 ppg in 29 games.
