Michigan knew that simply trying to hammer away on the ground with Robinson and running backs wasn't going to keep the Wolverines in the game. Against Alabama you have to prove that you can do everything, but Michigan simply couldn't.

I have read a lot of fantastic reading but Michigan is behind us may never play again. So I think we would move on and get our guys fired up for this week. There was several small timers that played well this pst weekend. Reason was somebody took them lightly. I don't these we play this can be taken lightly because we are banged up some. We need some healing and move on. It's been fun but now it will be real fun as the best team in the state of Alabama moves on. RTR!

The article makes the complete opposite case: Alabama has the highest respect for their opponent's game plan. It was quite obvious after studying UM that they would live or die by Denard's legs. Bama respected that game plan by making sure that UM could not execute it. Lack of respect would be indicated by not altering the defensive plan to address UM's strengths.

This approach is why it is laughable to hear folks saying that Tyler Wilson will eat us alive if we given him that much time in the pocket. Duh. The game plan for Arky is not likely to include maintaining a nice pocket for Tyler Wilson to throw from. He is no real threat to run. It remains to be seen how effectively we can collapse the pocket or move Wilson in the directions we need to move him.

Correct.  It's time we see if Mr Pettway and company are indeed the pass-rushing machines we need!

^THIS^

Bama knocked Tyler Wilson all over the field last year.  He was constantly under pressure and never had time to find an open receiver.  Bama should follow the same script this year.
