Source close to AD says not true. Is the SEC imploding? TN, Ark and UK could all be looking. I think Joker sealed his fate ith WKU loss.

Thank goodness Chizik won, or he'd be with them.  A weak Chizik-coached team is just what Aub needs.  Right now the trees look better than the team!

I think Arky is sorry they made John L's contract so long, Who would have thought that 10 months would turn into an eternity?

He's a nice guy, and Arky tried to salvage this year's season by keeping the coaches (sans Petrino).  Now they'll clean house and have a couple of down seasons (at least).

Loved that joke about neither Arky or Petrino scoring since the accident!

That one should get e-creds for the best joke. Arky is in for a miserable year, but I don't necessarily think they will have down years with the right coach. They still have talent on the team.

I definitely would not use UK and Arkansas as examples of the SEC. UT can still recover and go 9-3/8-4. Joker at UK was dead meat when the season started and Arky is in deep sheet with the loss of Petrino. We have already seen the talk of Arky going for Charlie Strong next year. Plus, the SEC has 4 teams in the Top 10, if that's an implosion, I'm all for it.
