2. A.J. McCarron, Alabama, QB: As his flawless TD-INT ratio of 16-0 shows, McCarron has been razor sharp for the nation's top team. Sure, some will make the claim that he's not even the best player on his team, but you can't knock his efficiency or the fact that he was the guy who lit up the vaunted LSU defense in the BCS title game.

The snake award, lol. Well I just think if he wins one it should be the real thing. AJ has got to keep his head though because this could cost him 2 or 3 games trying to hard. It would be absolutely great. RTR!

Yeah, probably, but if they get a late enough start talking about it, and get bored with "Optimus Klein," then it could happen.  But no one wins the Heisman, any more than you win a Christmas present.

I think AJ is having a great year. I don't know if he is the best player in the country or not but he belongs in the conversation. He is producing at a very high level on the best team in the best league. If he keeps putting up 200 plus yards, multiple TD passes, no INT's per game and Bama keeps winning he will be invited to NY.

AJ is having a good year, but I will reserve judgement until after he has played a tough defense like LSU.  If he carves them up like I think he will, then he will shoot up pretty high on the list nationally.
