....Nick Charles.  I'm old enough to remember very well Nick Charles and his on-air partner, Fred Hickman when CNN Sports made its debut.  At the time, I preferred their on-air banter more than anyone on ESPN (and the ratings reflected it).  Sort of like the Pat Summeral/John Madden of sports anchors.

A touching video and article on Nick's courage, but also heartwrenching.   Sad

I remember the old CNN sports.  I used to be able to stay up until it was over during baseball season.
