Patrick Murphy added "national champion" to his resume in June when he coached the Alabama softball team to its first in program history.
Today, he added "Hall of Famer."
The longtime Crimson Tide softball coach will be inducted into the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Hall of Fame, the organization announced today.
Murphy, who enters his 15th season as Alabama's head coach, boasts a 772-218 career record. The Crimson Tide has made eight appearances in the Women's College World Series and won four SEC regular season titles, including the past three.
