I personally expect Bama to win the BCSMNC again next year.  What's wrong with that?

I think we go in as the favorites to three-peat but We will have some valuable places to fill in. It will be interesting as we go. RTR!

I'm nervous about losing all those linemen who were the heart and soul of the team, but the defense should be improved, Bama will still have most of its weapons on offense, and Saban has linemen waiting in the wings and coming in early this Spring.

I think there are a couple of JC guys that will help plug the OL. This is the year with a #1 "D" returning along with a seasoned senior QB and maybe the best rec'g corp in the country. The RBs will be incredible. Big hole left by JW, but Brandon Ivory has experience and Scott Cochran. RTR

Two OL coming in early:

1. OL Leon Brown: The 6-foot-6, 308-pound offensive tackle from ASA Institute (JC) in New York has been hailed as a potential replacement at right tackle if D.J. Fluker skips his senior season and enters the NFL draft. Brown, who committed to Alabama in June, has the frame and talent to develop into an SEC tackle, but needs help in the technical aspects of the position.


2. OL Brandon Hill: Brown will have his hands full competing with Hill for early playing time at right tackle. The one-time Ole Miss commitment has the raw skills that coaches from across the country flock to see. He's a whopping 6-6 and 350 pounds, yet still maintains the freedom of movement necessary to play on the outside. He doesn't have the same second-level burst of Fluker or Cyrus Kouandjio, but he has the size and build to do well in pass-protection like another former massive lineman -- Andre Smith

I will be glad to see Jalston back and at full force. The other injuries and we are going to be loaded again. How could you not put the bulls eye on our backs? Yes, I know it hurts those same people who keep picking against Alabama and losing. RTR!

I think the early Vegas odds had us as 4 to 1 to repeat, which is insane considering there are about 120 teams.

Auburn's odds were 200 to 1.  I guess that means there are some high school teams that have a better chance than Auburn.
