Alabama's Trevor Releford is one of the best players in the Southeastern Conference, according to the league's coaches.
The junior guard was named Tuesday to the first-team All-SEC team, along with seven other players.
Releford, who leads Alabama in scoring (15.6 ppg) and steals (61), also was named to the six-man SEC All-Defensive Team.
Releford is ranked second in the SEC in steals per game (2.1) and is fifth in scoring (15.6 ppg), field-goal percentage (.490), free-throw percentage (.820) and minutes per game (33.2). He also leads Alabama in 3-point field goal percentage (.436, 44-of-101) and is second in assists per game (2.7).
