Michigan and Louisville in the finals. Wichita State was for real. They played good and had a chance to win. They start two kids from Georgia and one from Florence.

I picked Louisville at the start of the Tournament. I am sticking with them but Michigan is playing very good. It should be a good game.

We played Wichita State in the 2011/2012 season in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off and beat them. The next season they are in the Final Four and we are in the NIT. Very troubling.

Banging your head against the wall.
Maybe we need their coach?  They beat us in the NIT finals, and then two years later make the final 4, and almost the NCAA finals, while we don't make Madison Square Garden in the NIT.

What makes you think we could hire him. Other schools have tried and he stays at WSU. There is no football so they are the top atlectic program on campus. They consistantly fill their 10,000 seat arena. Areospace industry is big in Wichita so the school has access to private planes so they travel first class. He may leave but it will not be a lateral move. He has it pretty good there.

Their coach, Greg Marshall, is from Virginia. I think he would be interested in an ACC job if one became available. Just a guess, but hard to stay so far from home. He is 50 years old.

 Huh?

Just dreaming...  But I'm not pushing for a coaching change at this time.

This Siva kid is really fun to watch.  So smart and so active.

I watched a little bit of the game while I was multi-tasking.  I saw enough of it to say that both of those teams are miles ahead of where we are right now.  One key difference I saw was one time when a Michigan guy was throwing up a crazy, wild, contested shot from probably 5 feet behind the 3 point arc, and it rainbows way up in the air, nothing but net.  It was a beautiful shot once it left his hand.  When we do that we miss the whole backboard.

Laughing

We will get there some day though.

Rick Pitino told his team he would agree to get a tattoo if they won the championship. Look at Carson Tinker's response to that:

If we made that tattoo bet with Coach Saban he'd have a sleeve by now
