Big Ten Releases 9 Game Conference Schedule

Yeah, OSU & Michigan will end up picking up football powers like Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, Purdue, Northwestern, & Illinois.


 

The Big Ten, which moves to a nine-game conference schedule in 2016, announced the first of the expanded slates for 2016 and 2017.

The only thing that would help the Big Ten's schedule is if they played all non-conference games.

Don't you know that the Ohio State/Michigan game is the biggest game in college football!

This is why the Big Ten is pushing a 9 game schedule for all conferences. Their 9th game will more than likely be a cupcake like Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue, etc. In the SEC, the 9th game will likely be someone like Georgia, USC, Florida, Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, or even Auburn or Ole Miss. Gigantic difference in talent from them to us. I think Saban is making a HUGE mistake by pushing for a 9 game SEC schedule.
