Alabama behind Mizzou in one computer ranking

The computer rankings that make up one third of the BCS standings formula are starting to trickle in early Sunday afternoon.

Alabama, expected to top the first version of the complete standings released later Sunday, was ranked second in one of the six computer ratings that are combined for the 33 percent piece of the puzzle.

Missouri topped the Massey Ratings after moving to 7-0 with a win over Florida on Saturday. Alabama was second followed by Florida State, Clemson and Oregon.

The highest and lowest computer rating for each school is eliminated when the standings are finalized.

2. Alabama (2.26)

3. Florida State (2.25)

4. Clemson (2.12)

4. Oregon (2.12)

6. UCLA (2.02)

7. LSU (1.94)

8. Georgia (1.89)

Those hurricane spaghetti forecasts always have the majority together, and there's always one that heads to France.  I figure that meteorologist is a drinker!

OK, so I can see a very slight bit of logic in that, but how is UCLA ranked and Stanford, the team that beat them this weekend, not?
