In the ESPN Special "Pony Express" (SMU Death Penalty Story) one of the boosters made a comment that once you pay a player the kid owns you. Further payments are required as hush money.

fickell kinda looks like adam sandler. he might get mistaken for the water boy.

Exactly. The assistant coaches are usually the conduits for any improper benefits. Basically, the whole group is probably dirty and the NCAA knows it.

Unless it is an assistant that can't be trusted. This was the situation in another NCAA investigation I recall, --oh yeah-- wasn't that what barners say about the Pat Dye/Chiznik relationship? Help me out Marshall.
