Senior Bowl announces nine healthy scratches for 2014 game

The attention was on Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron and inside linebacker C.J. Mosley when they declined to play in the 2014 Senior Bowl because they had been Coastal Alabama prep stars - McCarron at St. Paul's and Mosley at Theodore. But they aren't the only players who decided not to play in Mobile's annual all-star game. At the National Football Scouting Weigh-in on Monday, Senior Bowl Executive Director Phil Savage said Saturday's game had nine healthy scratches.
