They were playing Duke, not Missouri. Gottfried can't coach anyway.
NC State lost to Missouri, 68-64. That's 17 points closer than the 21 point crushing Bama got.
NC St beat TN by 7.
Mizzou beat NC St at NC St. Big difference.
NC St has an RPI of 78 and a conference record of 2-4. That will not get them to the NCAA.
Either our team quit on Gottfried or Gottfried quit on our team. I can understand liking him as a former player and coach but why in the world would you want him back as our coach. I would rather have Phillip Pearson than Gottfried. He did a good job finishing out Gottfried's last year.
We are having a bad year. I get that. I think we need to support Grant because I don't think he will be back next year. His seat will be red hot but I think he gets another year barring a total meltdown.
