so are you a gun expert? I want to apply for a concealed weapon license (I live in Florida). I am trying to figure out what small handgun would be best to have. Any ideas? I'm not looking for a REAL expensive one.
I'd recommend the Ruger LCP (first pic below) or a Smith & Wesson 642 (second pic). The Ruger is a .380 semi-auto and the S&W is a .38 special revolver. Both great for women!
New to this forum but a long term gun owner and shooter. I happen to own both the Ruger LCP and a couple of S&W airweight revolvers. The Ruger LCP is easier to conceal, but the S&W revolvers are easier to shoot in my opinion. Which I carry is determined by what I'm wearing that day. The slide on the LCP may be difficult for a woman to operate comfortably.
As for shooting, my favorite guns are a S&W mod. 19, .357 mag. and a Kimber Mod 1911 .45 ultra compact carry II.
