We had all we needed back then. Three channels, Wide World of Sports and one college football game per week. I tell my kids about those days and they think I was raised in a cave.
LOL --It cut back on the # of trips across the living room to change channels.
When we changed channels I had to go outside and turn the antenna pole to get a good picture while my Mom yelled out instructions given by my Father who sat in the recliner right in front of the TV.
Long lost brother of mine???
I remember my dad telling some friends of his one day. " I'll never get one of those da#@ remotes. It'll be a cold day in hell before I am too lazy to tell my son to go change the channel."
