Serious Question Here.

Crimson Red.  How did this name get constructed.  Crimson does not equal red and red does not equal Crimson.  Crimson is part of our university, Red is not?  Are you following me?

My thought process was something along the lines of this:

cherry red
fire engine red
candy apple red

All of the really cool shades of red have something like that in front of them.

Hence Crimson Red

And most importantly... the domain name was available.
