Last year, the Aubs won the SEC then shipped the bed by losing the NC to FSU (and ending our string of SEC NC wins).

Prediction 2013:

Alabama - 182 votes
Georgia - 38
South Carolina - 18
Texas A&M - 4
LSU - 1

We won it all during 2012, but the media didn't pick us that year:

Here's the predicted order of finish for the 2012 SEC champion and the votes:

1. LSU - 129
2. Alabama - 65
3. Georgia - 14
4. South Carolina - 6
5. Arkansas - 4
6. Auburn - 2
7. Florida - 1
8. Ole Miss - 1

We also won the NC during 2011 (but recall, LSU won the SECCG); the SEC media picked us:

SEC CHAMPION

1. Alabama (98),

2. LSU (29),

3. Arkansas (18),

4. South Carolina (14),

5. Georgia (4),

6. Florida (2),

7. Ole Miss (2)

Always at or near the top, as should be. The Solar System is in complete balance when that happens.  Cool

Like I said during the in-game thread, I was afraid to mention it for fear of jinxing the win.  I didn't keep going back before 2011, but the SEC Champion was seldom the team predicted to win.  I think the conference went 7 straight years without predicting the winner.

That's really astounding when you think about it.

SEC media preseason voters have successfully selected champion just four times in the 22-year history of the poll. The correct picks were Florida in 1994 and '95, LSU in 2007 and Florida in 2008.

This is just the 5th time in 23 years!
