Stuff happens but his defense is what has helped LSU win a lot of games over the years. LSU fans, like most of us, are spoiled. He will have a big impact at A&M & LSU will more than likely have problems without him.

My concerns exactly. At least Miles kept the LSU offense floundering every year, but Sumlin's offense & Chavis D could be a huge problem.

Sumlin is a smart coach.  Chavis is a great DC -- LSU led the SEC in D this year, and LSU seemed to have a better answer to the HUNH offenses than Bama.

But it is really hard to beat the combo of Saban/Smart on D and Kiffin on O.  That combo is >  Sumlin/Chavis.  I hope Kiffin (and Smart) are around beyond next year.  Talk about a juggernaut!
