I think UNC lost a lot of D guys this year, so I might look at the O-coordinator. I'm a big believer in defense winning games.
If my theory is used, and they indeed lost more on the "D" side, then the "O" coordinator must be moved up. I'm guessing there is a lot more factors to the equation though. For instance, "D" schemes are more simple than the "O". Also, which coach has a better handle on understanding/coaching BOTH sides of the ball. Plus you cannot overlook recruiting just because the job is short term.
It'll be hard to get coaches to interview until December or after bowl season
