Rivals SEC Preview-Good Read

Good overall analysis of the league and teams.

Auburn won the 2010 title, and the Tigers were the only one of the recent SEC national titlists to open the season outside the top 10. The other four - Florida in 2006, LSU in '07, Florida in '08 and Alabama in '09 - opened in the top seven in The Associated Press poll and the top eight in the coaches' poll. None were No. 1, though.

Good read. Thanks for posting MD.

Rivals rates the Bama special teams as 3rd in the conference. Thats pretty good for those of you concerned that is our weakness.

That is pretty good. But is it accurate? Only time will tell. One thing is for sure: the coaches have seen all the same things we have seen and I am sure they are working on it pretty hard. My main concern is the punting, and to a lesser extent the field goal kicking. But if we score enough touchdowns those guys will hardly ever see the field, and when they do it won't be that critical. I think the O and the D will be very strong. I'm not concerned about the QB spot at all. Either guy will do just fine.
