No laughing matter: Ha'Sean 'Ha-Ha' Clinton-Dix impressing at Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- The idea Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix could make a significant early impact at Alabama was probably not surprising to loved ones back in Florida.

The 6-foot-1, 203-pound true freshman from Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips became the nation's No. 1 rated high school safety last year, according to Scout.com and Rivals.com.

Clinton-Dix, along with Crimson Tide teammate Dee Hart, helped his Panthers to a 14-1 record and a berth to Florida's Class 6A state championship game. His senior season ended with 112 tackles, four forced fumbles and two interceptions, giving him a reputation for punishing opponents with his elite style of play.

This is exactly why Saban is the man. He goes out and not only recruits good athletes, but he recruits good kids. Man the future looks bright for the Tide. Love reading this about the young talent we have coming in. Roll Tide!
