LSU currently has 23 commitments and the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class, but with Alabama poised to finish very strong it is far from certain whether LSU will end with the No. 1 class. In fact, yesterday 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong predicted that Alabama will overtake LSU for the top position despite the Crimson Tide being ranked fifth at this time.
