Click here for linkThe offensive line continues to be a point of concern, based on the comments of both players and coaches. While it may be relieving to blame the continued struggles up front on the undersized Kent State defensive line, the coaching staff and the players have taken a more critical view, and along with Trent Richardson have been open and honest about the fact that UA needs to block better up front, the backs need to be more aggressive, and in general the Tide needs to re-establish the run game.
The exact composition of the line itself remains up in the air, and while personnel changes may be made before the Tide takes the field this Saturday, the UA coaching staff is not going to make anyone outside of the immediate circle of the football program privy to such staff decisions beforehand. Until Saturday, all we can do is speculate.
