A two-run error in the fourth inning ultimately made the difference in a close 4-2 win for Alabama over South Alabama Wednesday night at Rhoads Stadium.
Alabama (39-8) scored four runs on six hits against South Alabama (26-13), including a two-run home run by Leona Lafaele as part of a 2-3 day at the plate. Over her last five games, Lafaele is hitting .538 (7-13) with five home runs.
