Let's use HL and BP scores as an example. Smitty, correct me if I'm wrong.
HL predicted 27-13 which is 40 total points with a 14 point difference. BP's score of 29-16 was 45 total points and the spread a dead on 13. The actual score of 19-6 was a total of 25 points. HL was 5 points ahead on score, BP was 1 ahead on spread; total winning difference of 4 points by HL.

(27 to 13) - (19 to 6) = (8 to 7)

(29 to 16) - (19 to 6) = (10 to 10)

(8 to 7) < (10 to 10)

(29 - 16) - (19 - 6) = (10 - 10)

(8 - 7) < (10 - 10)

What kind of math are you fellows using?

(8 - 7) < (10 - 10)  Huh?

        2 + 2 = ?

8 -7 = 1
10 -10 = 0

1 > 0

Actually I think some of those minus signs are meant to be dashes, as in 8 to 7, not 8 minus 7.  But I bet a lot of people are pretty confused by those equations.

Only if they came in late and dont know what we're talking about, hopefully.
