Not much of a surprise. Who they going after, Kelly from the 49ers, Kiffin, MacIntyre (Colorado HC), or who?

I heard that it was going to happen this morning. Do not be surprised if Dan Mullen's name doesn't come up.

Forgot about him. I've heard he's looking for a place to go. Still waiting for Arizona, UCLA, maybe Texas A&M, Baylor, SMU, Cincinnati, & others to have vacancies. Then, the dominoes will begin to fall and a lot of coaches will be moved around.

If Kiffin leaves Alabama I hope he goes anywhere but lsu. He is a very good OC and he would build them but he is a poor HC and that don't worry me. RTR!

Poor coach Helfrich.  His buyout is only $11.6MM

So here's a question:  What if Kiff does not go to LSU, and he does not get offerred another HC position either. What would that say about his future?

I for one pretty much would think he is Alabama HC bound someday. I do however, think he will get another HC coaching job this year and if anything I hope it's in the SEC not and OC job in the SEC. CLK is just not a HC material to me. RTR!

CLK will never be the HC at Bama. Ever.

Swinney is the next coach. No question.

Now, if CNS ever decided to quit or retire, and CDS came on board I would be tickled. Only one thing you can't expect someone like Coach Dabo to walk in the SEC and do what he has done in ACC. Talent a whole different. RTR!

True, but Dabo's a good head coach.  He's a great recruiter and walks the line between being a player's coach and maintaining discipline. He'd inherit a team loaded with talented and disciplined players. He'd have no trouble putting together a great staff.
