The Ladies opened their season with two impressive wins in the Kickin' Chicken Classic in Conway, SC.

Game 1: Littlejohn and Moore combined to shut out Towson 17-0. Every Bama player had at least one hit and homeruns by Grantham, Runyon, Hemphill, and Booker.

Game 2: Osorio pitched a 7 inning perfect game against Costal Carilina striking out 19 (of the 21 outs),  She struckout the first 12 batters she faced. Grantham and Hemphill supplied the power hitting, Hemphill hit her second HR of the day and Grantham had 2 doubles.

Happy, Happy, Happy to see the season start with a bang

It's nice to know that we have a very strong 1-2 punch going into the season.  Hopefully we can hook a nice combination of three pitchers before the tough part of the season gets going...

Yeah, I was hoping that Madi Moore, having a year under her belt, would be that strong third pitcher. Apparently, she got off to a rocky start yesterday. It's early, though. Hopefully, she will progress.

Sunday Game: Maddie Moore went the distance for a 9-3 win over host Coastal Carolina.

Turner led the offense with 4 hits. Hemphill had 3 hits including her 3rd homer of the weekend. Booker also homered for the Tide.

Great season start 5-0.
