The State (Columbia newspaper) broke this story over a year ago. At that time - 13 months ago - the NCAA had already been conducting interviews. I'd forgotten about it. Just another example of how the NCAA works slowly.

What shocks me the most about this story is that the impermissible benefits were still ongoing for at least 6 months after the NCAA was already investigating it. What the hell, Gamecocks? Lack of institutional control, have we?
