Alabama is a school that DGB has taken an unofficial visit to and seems to like. The situation here would be pretty interesting, as the Crimson Tide aren't known for their air assault on offense.

However, Julio Jones proved during his three seasons in Tuscaloosa that Nick Saban and his staff recognize stud WRs and get them the football.

If he were to sign here, Green-Beckham would almost surely immediately draw comparisons as the next Julio Jones.

Quote
The Hogs saw Green-Beckham on campus last month and the WR liked what he saw. He also commented to various media outlets that he likes the pro-style passing attack.

With Bobby Petrino, a renowned offensive mind, leading the program and their recent history of solid WR play, this could be a good situation for DGB.

Being a Razorback could appeal to him because Petrino could show him to play like an NFL WR, which we all expect Green-Beckham to be in perhaps three years.

No matter which one he chooses, Alabama or Arkansas, he'll certainly affect the future competitions between them.  Should he screw up and go elsewhere, not so much.

He has Missouri high on his list. I read where his family wants him to stay close to home.

Well....once he sees the Arkie qb getting off the ground more times than completing passes. He'll know the right decision.

Mama can drive the family a few miles to Columbia, Missou to see him, or make the trek to Alabama each week while dreaming of that NFL contract that'll set her up with a new house, new car, bling, ...

It doesn't matter how good you are as a receiver, the QB can't throw the ball to you if he is laying on the ground broken.

From my dictionary:

Quote
usage: The verb lie (‘assume a horizontal or resting position’) is often confused with the verb lay (‘put something down’), giving rise to incorrect uses such as he is laying on the bed (correct use is he is lying on the bed) or why don't you lie the suitcase on the bed? (correct use is why don't you lay the suitcase on the bed?). The confusion is only heightened by the fact that lay is not only the base form of to lay, but is also the past tense of to lie, so while he is laying on the bed is incorrect, he lay on the bed yesterday is quite correct. For more discussion of these lie and lay verb forms, see usage at lay1.
