Shockingly, ESPN has a 30 minute "College Football Scoreboard" scheduled between each game next Saturday. (Their marketing program apparently only allows for scheduling 3 hours per football game). So maybe the Bama game won't appear on too many channels.
And 2, 6:15 is much better than the 8 pm time slot.
Last week they had 3 hours and 45 minutes between the start of Miami-FSU but they still managed to FAIL!!!
More likely than not ESPN fails again this week. 3:30 is usually not enough time to cover a game with commercials, unless it is two option teams. Other networks schedule 3:30 but leave room to grow. ESPN has been mostly scheduling 3 hour intervals this season, which apparently has annoyed enough fans that they now are putting in a "gratuitous" extra half-hour.
