Game notes: A&M vs Bama

I watched the replay.  There were numerous plays when the A&M LBs crashed the line at the snap of the ball.  Looks like they did that based on sets they saw and their schemes.

As I said above, Eli Gold mentioned that A&M was clogging the line.  Coach Saban stated that "the Aggies used an extra defender in the box to limit running lanes and force throws."

But generally, nobody on the team seems concerned about the running productivity against A&M.  We prolly could have run on the edge more instead of off tackle.

The edge is where we ran the best. Even Najee couldn't jump around and get some room. RTR!

I will watch again.  They may have been gambling on run blitzes and just turning them into a pass rush if the play dictates.
